02Custom Made Products
Wardrobes2U products are made specifically to the measurements, specifications, colours, finishes and options selected by the customer.
It is important that all information supplied with your order is correct before the order is submitted. Once manufacture has commenced, changes may not be possible.
03Customer Measurements
For DIY orders, the customer is responsible for providing accurate opening measurements in accordance with our Measure Guide. Wardrobes2U manufactures your order using the measurements and selections provided by you.
You must measure the wardrobe opening and provide the measurements requested during the ordering process. Where more than one height or width measurement is requested, Wardrobes2U will manufacture using the applicable measurement method shown in our Measure Guide and ordering system.
Customers should not provide existing wardrobe door sizes unless specifically requested by Wardrobes2U.
If measurements supplied by the customer are incorrect, any replacement or alteration required as a result is not considered a manufacturing defect and may be charged to the customer.
Our FREE 15 Minute Design Call is available to help customers talk through their door options, inserts, colours and measurements before ordering. Customers remain responsible for the accuracy of the measurements and selections they supply. Any advice or courtesy review provided by Wardrobes2U during a Design Call or otherwise does not constitute independent verification of measurements and does not transfer responsibility for taking or providing the measurements, unless Wardrobes2U has attended the property and completed the measurement as part of a professional measure and installation service.
04Product Selection
The customer is responsible for checking that the selected door style, frame colour, insert, track configuration, dimensions and optional extras are suitable for their opening and intended use.
Product photographs, samples and images are intended to represent our products as accurately as possible. Colours and finishes may appear slightly different depending on lighting, screen settings, material batches and the natural characteristics of the product. Reasonable variation of this kind is not considered a defect.
05Orders
An order is accepted once Wardrobes2U has received the required payment and issued an order confirmation.
Please check your order confirmation carefully. If anything is incorrect, contact us as soon as possible.
Wardrobes2U may contact you before manufacture if information supplied with your order appears incomplete or inconsistent.
06Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars. Prices and any applicable delivery, installation or additional charges will be displayed before your order is completed.
Wardrobes2U may change advertised prices from time to time. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for unless the order itself is subsequently changed by agreement.
Obvious pricing or system errors may be corrected before manufacture. If this occurs after payment, we will contact you before proceeding and you may choose not to continue with the affected order.
07Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout or otherwise agreed with Wardrobes2U.
Your order will not proceed to manufacture until the required payment has been received. Title to the goods passes to the customer once the goods have been paid for in full.
08Changes and Cancellations
Because our wardrobe doors are custom made specifically for each customer, please contact us immediately if you need to change an order.
You may request changes to sizes, colours, inserts or other selections within 24 hours of placing your order. Contact us by phone or email with your order number and the change required, and we will confirm the change and any price difference before proceeding.
After 24 hours your order proceeds to manufacture and cannot be changed or cancelled, because the products are being made specifically to your measurements and selections. The 24 hour change period does not provide a right to cancel the order or receive a refund.
This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
09Change of Mind
Wardrobes2U does not offer change of mind returns or refunds for custom made products manufactured to the customer's measurements or specifications.
Please check all measurements, colours, finishes, quantities and product selections carefully before placing your order.
Nothing in this section limits your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
10Manufacture and Lead Times
Wardrobes2U products are custom made to order and are manufactured and delivered within 12 working days. Due to circumstances beyond our control this timeframe may be extended, and we will advise you if this occurs.
Any manufacture or delivery timeframe provided is an estimate and may be affected by product availability, order volume, delivery scheduling or circumstances outside our reasonable control. If an unexpected delay occurs, we will contact you where reasonably practicable.
11Delivery
Wardrobes2U provides kerbside delivery within our applicable delivery areas. The customer is responsible for ensuring there is suitable access and for moving the products from the kerbside delivery point after delivery.
Full delivery conditions, including Authority to Leave, unattended deliveries, risk after delivery and redelivery fees, are set out in our Delivery Policy.
By selecting Authority to Leave, you authorise Wardrobes2U to leave the order unattended at the nominated delivery location.
Once delivery has been completed in accordance with your instructions and photographic confirmation has been recorded, risk and responsibility for the goods passes to you, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
12Failed Delivery and Redelivery
Someone must be available to receive the order unless Authority to Leave has been provided. If nobody is available and Authority to Leave has not been provided, the goods will not be left unattended.
The order will be returned and a redelivery fee will apply before another delivery is arranged. The applicable redelivery fee will depend on the location and size of the order and will be advised before redelivery.
13Delivery Inspection
Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If you believe an item was damaged before or during delivery, contact Wardrobes2U promptly and provide photographs of the affected item. Prompt notification helps us establish what occurred and arrange the appropriate solution.
This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
14DIY Installation
Wardrobes2U strongly recommends that sliding wardrobe doors are installed by a licensed professional. Sliding doors are large, heavy and awkward to handle, and doors fitted with glass or mirror panels can break and cause serious injury if dropped, knocked or handled incorrectly. If you choose to install the doors yourself, you do so at your own risk. You must have at least one other capable adult to assist you, use appropriate tools and safety equipment, and follow the installation instructions supplied.
Wardrobes2U accepts no responsibility for personal injury, property damage or damage to the products, including breakage of glass or mirror, arising from customer installation, handling or transport of the goods after delivery, except where that liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Products purchased for DIY installation must be installed in accordance with the instructions and guidance supplied by Wardrobes2U. The customer is responsible for ensuring the opening and surrounding structure are suitable for installation.
Wardrobes2U is not responsible for faults or damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect customer supplied measurements, unsuitable structures, alterations or installation work performed by another person.
A manufacturing defect in the product itself remains subject to our Warranty and the Australian Consumer Law.
15Professional Installation
Where professional installation is purchased from Wardrobes2U, the customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the installation area. The installation area must be cleared of personal belongings and other obstructions before our installer arrives.
Any conditions that prevent safe or reasonable installation may require the installation to be rescheduled and an additional attendance charge may apply where appropriate.
Our installers will advise you if site conditions prevent the products from being installed as intended.
16Existing Site Conditions
Wardrobes2U is not responsible for faults caused by pre-existing site conditions outside our control, including walls, floors, ceilings or openings that are not level, plumb, square or structurally suitable.
Where Wardrobes2U is providing professional installation and identifies a condition that may affect installation, we will discuss the issue with you before proceeding where reasonably practicable.
17Warranty
Wardrobes2U products are covered by a 5 year warranty, subject to the warranty periods and conditions set out in our Warranty. Panel bowing or warping of less than 5 mm is considered within normal manufacturing tolerance.
Full coverage, exclusions, claim procedures and Australian Consumer Law information are set out in our Warranty.
18Returns, Repairs and Replacement Products
Where a product is faulty or does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, Wardrobes2U will assess the issue and provide the remedy required by the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement or refund.
Wardrobes2U may request photographs, measurements, video or an inspection before determining the appropriate remedy.
A customer measurement error, change of mind or damage caused after delivery is not considered a manufacturing defect.
19Replacement Delivery
Where a warranty claim is accepted and a replacement product or component is required, the replacement will normally be supplied through Wardrobes2U's standard collection or delivery arrangements and delivery schedule. Special or express delivery is not automatically included.
Any collection, transport, delivery or other costs will be handled in accordance with our Warranty and the Australian Consumer Law.
20Care and Maintenance
Customers must use and maintain Wardrobes2U products reasonably and follow any care instructions supplied.
Damage caused by misuse, impact, unsuitable cleaners, abrasive materials, excessive moisture, incorrect storage or unauthorised alteration may not be covered by the Wardrobes2U Warranty.
21Website Information
We take reasonable care to ensure information displayed on our website is accurate. Product descriptions, images, dimensions, availability and pricing may be updated from time to time.
Website content is general information and should be read together with the specific product information, Measure Guide and options shown when ordering.
22Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, product information, guides and website design owned by Wardrobes2U may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without our prior written permission.
23Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where these Terms and Conditions are inconsistent with a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, the Australian Consumer Law will apply.
24Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Wardrobes2U is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profits, loss of use, delay costs or costs of other trades, arising from the supply, delivery, installation or use of our products.
To the extent permitted by law, Wardrobes2U is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from incorrect customer measurements, improper installation, unsafe handling, misuse, or failure to follow the installation instructions, safety warnings or care guidelines supplied.
Where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited, at our option, to the repair or replacement of the goods, the resupply of equivalent goods, or payment of the cost of repair, replacement or resupply.
25Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Wardrobes2U, Ocean Blue Textured Glass Pty Ltd and its directors, employees and contractors against any claim, loss, damage or expense arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions, your misuse of our products, or any injury or damage caused by improper installation, unsafe handling or unsafe use of our products by you or any person you engage.
26Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, without limiting any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
27Privacy
Personal information collected by Wardrobes2U is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
28Changes to These Terms
Wardrobes2U may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The Terms and Conditions applicable to your purchase are those in effect when your order is placed, unless a change is required by law.
