01Warranty Coverage
5 Year Wardrobe Door System
The Wardrobes2U wardrobe door system is covered for 5 years against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
This includes aluminium door frames, top tracks, bottom tracks, vinyl inserts and raw Gyprock inserts supplied by Wardrobes2U.
For raw Gyprock inserts, the warranty applies to the product as supplied by Wardrobes2U. It does not cover subsequent painting, finishing, moisture damage or damage caused by work carried out after delivery.
3 Year Painted Glass
Painted glass inserts are covered for 3 years against manufacturing defects in the glass or painted finish.
The warranty does not cover breakage, chips, scratches or impact damage occurring after delivery, except where the damage was present before or during delivery or was caused by Wardrobes2U during professional installation.
1 Year Mirror
Mirror inserts are covered for 1 year against manufacturing defects.
The warranty does not cover breakage, chips, scratches or impact damage occurring after delivery, except where the damage was present before or during delivery or was caused by Wardrobes2U during professional installation.
1 Year Rollers
Rollers supplied as part of a Wardrobes2U sliding wardrobe door system are covered for 1 year against manufacturing defects.
Normal wear through ordinary use is not considered a manufacturing defect.
All warranty periods run from the date of delivery. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
02Panel Bowing and Warping
A small degree of movement can occur in large wardrobe door panels.
For the purposes of the Wardrobes2U warranty, panel bowing or warping of less than 5 mm is considered within our normal manufacturing tolerance.
Where bowing or warping exceeds 5 mm, Wardrobes2U will assess the door to determine whether the movement has resulted from a manufacturing defect.
The warranty does not cover bowing, warping or distortion caused by incorrect storage, excessive moisture, heat, building movement, an opening that is not level or plumb, incorrect installation or other conditions outside the manufacture of the door.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
03DIY Installation
Choosing DIY installation does not remove your product warranty.
The applicable Wardrobes2U warranty continues to cover manufacturing defects in the products supplied by us.
The warranty does not cover faults or damage caused by incorrect customer supplied measurements, incorrect installation, modification of the product, unsuitable site conditions or work carried out by another person.
Customers are responsible for supplying accurate measurements for custom made orders. See our Measure Guide and Terms and Conditions.
04Professional Installation
Where Wardrobes2U provides professional installation, the installation will be carried out with due care and skill.
Any issue caused by installation work carried out by Wardrobes2U will be assessed in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Damage or faults caused by subsequent building work, other trades, building movement, alterations or conditions outside our installation work are not covered by the product warranty.
